The Socialist Party of Wisconsin would like to thank everyone who stopped by our table at Fighting Bob Fest on Saturday September 12. It was great to meet and talk to a lot of new people and many old friends. Our literature went fast (we ran out) and we signed up new members to fight for socialism and a better world.

The reorganization of the South Central Wisconsin (Madison) Local is moving along. We hope to be able to announce the completion of phase 2 (the announcement of a full slate of interim officers and the rechartering of the Local) very soon. As a final reminder the SPWI SEC and the Milwaukee Local will be having a joint meeting at our office in the Peace Action Center at 1001 Keefe on Saturday 9/19 at 1.30. Use the side door. The public is welcome, but get there early it is expected to be a well attended meeting.
